Access to Information and Protection of Privacy
With the coming into force of the Protection of Privacy Act and the Access to Information Act, Athabasca University will be transitioning its FOIP Program over the next several weeks. In the meantime as we update our resources, support and training, you can find out more information about the two new Acts here:
Our FOIP Resources will continue to be available for reference but note that while there is much that stays the same in the new legislation, there are key changes so please check with the OCGOGC, Privacy, Policy and Records Management Team before relying on them.
