The English language can be quite challenging, especially if it isn't your first language. We want to ensure that all learners get the most out of their learning experience and have the tools needed to be successful-all before even walking through our virtual doors.
Starting in spring 2021, all undergraduate learners applying to Athabasca University (AU) will be required to meet English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements. This means that learners will need to identify their first language within the online application. If it is not English, proof of ELP will be required to procced in the application process.
