Overview
Human Service 306 Critical Reflection for Practice is a project course that students normally take following completion of two years of study at the junior level. The assignments are the project components that will consolidate your learning.
In addition, HSRV 306 looks ahead to the planning of the remainder of your coursework, to consolidate strengths and address limitations, by positioning you to self-assess your progress as you complete more courses. Its design requires you to make sense of the learning you are acquiring and to share some of it with your tutor and peers in your capacity as a human services educator.
As a student registered in HSRV 306, you will self-assess educational goals and prepare to implement a personal learning plan. While you study, you will look back at the post-secondary education you have already completed and look forward to your completion of an undergraduate degree, academic credential, or other educational goals. You will be asked to take stock of your learning experiences and goals, and to get firmly established in your program of study at Athabasca University, in part, by interacting with your peers in the context of interprofessional communication and education.

Evaluation
To receive credit for HSRV 306, you must complete four graded assignments and achieve an overall course composite grade of D (50 percent)or higher. The weightings for each assignment are as follows.

This course either does not have a course package or the textbooks are open-source material and available to students at no cost. This course has a Course Administration and Technology Fee, but students are not charged the Course Materials Fee.
