Bachelor of General Studies - Learning outcomes
Graduates from the Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) program will demonstrate the ability to:
- Apply foundational knowledge, skills, and attitudes from the required humanities, sciences, and social sciences courses (ARSC).
- Apply foundational knowledge, skills, and attitudes from the required applied studies, business, and administrative courses (APST).
- Critically examine the theoretical basis of several approaches which comprise a particular area of interest beyond the core curriculum.
- Develop appropriate arguments and conclusions from the required areas of study that are well-informed by evidence.
- Integrate diverse ideas, knowledge, and evidence from multiple sources.
- Present ideas consistent with academic integrity.
