Bachelor of Arts, History Major - Learning outcomes
By the end of the program, students will be able to:
- Explain historical continuity and change in order to contextualize events and inform choices in the present.
- Clearly and effectively communicate findings and their implications according to the disciplinary conventions of History.
- Identify, explain, critically evaluate, analyze, and synthesize the evidence from past events and the interpretation of historians.
- Identify relevant historiographical issues, including theories and methods, for the interpretation of evidence from past events.
